What plants are found in the tundra?

The tundra is located along the Arctic Ocean in a wide strip. Despite the harsh climatic conditions, a large number of plants grow and give seeds there in a short summer.

In the tundra, there are trees – dwarf birch, shaggy willow. From grasses and shrubs there grow cuckoo flax, highlander, crow, wild rosemary, sedge, dryad, heather.

Of the mushrooms, only boletus.

Berries – cloudberries, blueberries.

Lichens and mosses (reindeer moss) grow in abundance.
