When light is refracted, two laws are fulfilled:
– the ratio of the sine of the angle of incidence to the sine of the angle of refraction is a constant value for two media
sinα / sinγ = n
– the rays of the incident, refracted and perpendicular drawn to the interface between the two media at the point of incidence of the ray lie in the same plane.
