What processes provide metabolism in the body?

Metabolism includes processes:
1) intake of substances during respiration and nutrition (oxygen, water, nutrients);
2) transformation of substances – metabolism, which includes reactions of two opposite directions:
a) dissimilation or energy exchange – decay reactions with the release of energy;
b) assimilation or plastic exchange – reactions of biosynthesis, going with the absorption of energy.
3) excretion of substances during respiration, with urine and sweat (carbon dioxide, urea, excess water and salt).
