What programs can be included in the computer software?
Software (SW) is a set of programs and commands that are used to ensure the operation of a computer (input, processing and output of information). Software is often referred to as “software”. The software is divided into: system software, application software, programming systems. System software includes: operating systems (loaded into RAM when the computer is turned on); shell programs (for example: Windows Commander); operating shells (for example: Windows Explorer); drivers (for controlling ports of peripheral devices); utilities (for hard drive maintenance, security, etc.). Application software includes programs with which you can work on a PC. For example: MS OFFICE package, browsers, editors, archivers, etc. Programming systems – provide the creation of new programs in a programming language. For example: Borland Delphi, Microsoft Visual Basic, Pascal, etc.
