What rocks does table salt belong to?

Salt, which is obtained in a naturally solid form from nature, belongs to sedimentary rocks. Since salt crystals dissolve easily in water, it is water that contributes to the formation of salt deposits (rock salt). In addition, salt is also found in ocean water, as well as in some lakes (Caspian Sea, Dead Sea, Balkhash, etc.).
