In cognition, two levels are always distinguished, which have the names of the sensible and the rational. Sensory cognition is a person’s cognition of the surrounding world through the senses. Rational knowledge, in turn, is knowledge through reason and thinking. It is precisely the sensations that a person experiences throughout his life that should be attributed to sensory knowledge of the world.
