What role does the Labor Party play in the life of England?

The Labor Party was led by right-wing reformists and consisted primarily of workers who strove for an independent class policy. The party advocated the creation of socialism, but put into its essence the reform of the capitalist system through the bourgeois state and the interaction of representatives of all classes. They used rather flexible methods in their policy. The fight against unemployment was organized, and there was a desire to improve social insurance. Since 1930, an economic crisis has struck, and the party begins to attack the rights of workers. Since 1950, the party has begun to advocate for the development of state-monopoly capitalism.
