What roles did a man play in ancient Sparta?

A Spartan was considered a man who was born in Sparta. Already from infancy, a Spartan man passed the test. The newborn was examined, and if he was healthy by outward signs, then he was left alive, and if not, you were killed. They had the following powers and responsibilities:

1) participated in meetings;

2) ruled over lands and slaves;

3) served in the army;

4) the main business of the Spartans was war.

5) it was forbidden to dine at home, the Spartans gathered in groups and dined together.

6) the Spartans got married at the age of 30, they were not allowed to be at home often. Only the elderly were allowed to live in the house.
