What sections of the population supported the Huguenot movement?

The Huguenot movement was not a marginal movement of the lower classes, it was supported by everyone, among whom were:

– the townspeople who have become poorer due to the policy pursued in France;

– noblemen from the provinces;

– some part of the feudal lords, dissatisfied with the policy of royal power (first of all, this concerned the process of centralization of power).
