What small city dared to help Athens during the first Persian invasion of Greece?

The only city of Hellas that sent a thousandth army to help Athens to repel the Persian battle was the Boeotian town of Plateia. Later, it was under Plataea that the Persian troops were finally defeated already during the invasion of the enemy led by King Xerxes.
