In the late nineteenth century, the following changes occurred in England:
The number of voters has increased.
The workers were given the right to strike.
The Irish Church was abolished, the funds from which went to the equipping of schools.
The sale of ranks among the troops was abolished.
A new law was passed on the education of the people.
