What stages of the Second World War can you name?

World War II can be divided into the following stages:

1. Blitzkrieg of 1939-1940, when Poland, Scandinavian countries, France were captured and the defeat of the allies in the Balkans.

2. 1940 the beginning of the African campaign and the German invasion of the USSR in the summer of 1941.

3. The turning point in the war covering the battles for Moscow (1941-1942), the battle for Stalingrad 1942-1943, the surrender of German troops in Africa in 1943 and the landing of the Allies in Normandy (1944).

4. The final stage of the war (1944-1945) covering Operation Balaton, the Battle of Arden and the surrender of Berlin.
