What states were part of the Arab Caliphate during its heyday and power?

The Caliphate included the entire Arabian Peninsula, the North of the African continent, and the Iberian Peninsula. The islands of Sicily, Malta and Cyprus were conquered in the Mediterranean Sea. The entire Middle East was the center of the Arab state, two of its three capitals were located here. Also included were lands in the east – modern Iran, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, as well as part of Pakistan.
