What system carries out the transfer of carbon dioxide from organs and tissues to the lungs?

The transport system of humans and most animals is the circulatory system. Blood is a liquid tissue in which most substances can dissolve, some substances, like oxygen and carbon dioxide, which are poorly soluble in water, are transported by blood cells. These gases are carried by red blood cells – erythrocytes. The heart, performing the function of a pump, makes the blood move through the vessels. Therefore, THE TRANSFER OF CARBON GAS FROM ORGANS AND TISSUES INTO LUNGS IS CARRIED OUT BY THE CIRCULAR SYSTEM.
