What system was established in Turkey in the Middle Ages?

On the territory of modern Turkey in the XI-XV centuries, there was a struggle between the Byzantines, Seljuk Turks and other opponents (crusaders, separate Turkish principalities, Genoese, Venetians, the state with a Greek dynasty in Trapezunt).

As a result, by the end of the 15th century, all lands were united under the rule of the Ottoman sultans. It dates back to 1300. In 1453 Constantinople became the capital, in 1461 Trebizond was taken.

The form of government was monarchical, power was transferred to representatives of the dynasty, sometimes there were riots and coups d’état with the overthrow of the unwanted nobility and the janissaries of the Sultan.
