But all of them have only one thing in common – these were once large and strong states that were ready to repulse any people.
Such were the Avar and Türkic kaganates.
The Avar Khaganate was located on the territory of modern Hungary, Romania, Serbia and Croatia, as well as Slovakia.
The Turkic Khaganate was located in the territories of Mongolia, North China, the Caucasus, Kazakhstan and Crimea.
