What thinker is considered one of the founders of humanism during the Renaissance?

The Renaissance is inextricably linked with such a concept as humanism. Florence, in turn, had a significant impact on the formation of the humanist movement. Petrarch is considered the creator of this movement; as a poet, he was able to convey harmoniously the feelings of people quite accurately and vividly. In his literature, when writing it, he described the inner experiences of a person in a rather interesting way. Petrarch, as a representative of early literature, was critical of both modern and the literature of past years. Nevertheless, in the literature of antiquity, he sought to find a justification for the development of a new worldview.
