What tissue provides support for the body of the plant and its organs?

Mechanical tissues are a kind of plant skeleton that allows you to withstand physical stress. In a plant organism, a similar task can be dealt with by moving along the path of thickening the cell wall. Mechanical tissue, consisting of cells with unevenly thickened walls, is called collenchyma (angular and lamellar collenchyma are distinguished). If the cells of a mechanical tissue have uniformly thickened walls, then such a tissue is called sclerenchyma (distinguish between sclerenchymal fibers and sclereids).
