What tissues are included in the skeleton?

Bone and cartilage tissue. Their functions:
1- Create ODE
2- Protect organs
3- Water-salt exchange
4- Play a formative role.
Cartilage, like all living things, consists of cells and intercellular substance. The perichondrium supplies nutrients. Cartilage tissue is:
1- fibrous (intervertebral discs; semi-movable joints).
2- elastic (in the airways, outer ear, cartilage in the nose).
3- hyaline (Bone joints; airway cartilage).
Bone tissue is connective tissue with inorganic compounds. It contains water and organic components.
Bone tissue is divided into:
1- coarse fibrous (intrauterine only).
2- Lamellar (Flat – skull; tubular – ribs, sternum, vertebrae; tubular – limbs).
