What traditions did the pagans have?

Once upon a time, people believed in different gods and mythical creatures. This belief was called paganism. People built various temples, temples and other places of worship to worship their gods. So common traditions among the pagans were sacrifices to the gods (sometimes human), ritual dances, ceremonies, and also holidays associated with the changing seasons. Pagan traditions such as the celebration of the New Year, the holiday of Ivan Kupala, and so on have survived to our times.
