What two parts is Ancient Greece divided into?

Greece is divided into three parts:

1) Mainland Greece – it includes Greek Macedonia, Thessaly, Epirus, Thrace, central Greece, etc.

2) Peloponnese Island – which included two large historical regions of Attica and Laconica. There were also two major political centers of this ancient state: Sparta and Athens;

3) Islands of the Aegean Sea and the island of Crete.
