What type of cell division results in four haploid cells?

As a result of meiotic division, the formation of four haploid cells can be observed. This method does not apply to somatic cells (like mitosis), but to reproductive cells, that is, sex cells. It takes place in two stages, in each of which two cells will be delighted. This type of division is the most progressive, since it makes it possible for organisms to obtain new signs and properties that were not previously noticed in parents. This is possible due to the crossing over and conjugation that occurs during the first stage of division.
