Like most animals, molluscs, including cephalopods, have bilateral body symmetry. This means that one plane of symmetry can be drawn through the body of the cephalopod mollusc, relative to which both halves will be practically the same.
The arrangement of the arms and tentacles of the cephalopods might suggest a radial symmetry, but this is not the case.
