What types of clouds are there?

Clouds are of different types, which differ from each other in appearance and form at different heights. Thus, low-lying cumulus, cumulonimbus and stratified types are distinguished, which reach a maximum height of about two kilometers. Altocumulus and Altostratus clouds can form at altitudes up to six kilometers. And the highest clouds within the troposphere are cirrus varieties, including cirrostratus clouds, which can reach up to thirteen kilometers in height.
