What types of crust are there?

The earth’s crust is oceanic and continental.
The oceanic includes sedimentary and basalt layers. Young, was formed not earlier than the beginning of the Mesozoic and continues to form today in the oceans, where, as a result of the horizontal movement of the continents, they move away from each other.
The mainland includes sedimentary, granite and basalt layers. This type of crust composes the continents that were formed no later than the beginning of the Mesozoic, the continental shelf (shelf), the continental slope and the continental foot.
