What was before the emergence of Homo sapiens or the emergence of agriculture?

Homo sapiens arose, of course, before agriculture. To engage in agriculture, you initially need thinking, the ability to acquire skills and analyze phenomena and information. Only with the presence of thinking, a person was able, on the basis of analysis, to single out certain plants with the necessary properties and develop a system for caring for them and growing in order to obtain a harvest in one form or another (fruits, cereals, etc.).

One of the components of a person's success in our time is receiving modern high-quality education, mastering the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for life in society. A person today needs to study almost all his life, mastering everything new and new, acquiring the necessary professional qualities.
