What was the attitude of the Slavs towards slavery?

The Eastern Slavs, who were distributed over the territories of Eurasia, had a negative attitude towards slavery. In the stages of development of these peoples, there was no stage of slave-owning relations. The complete absence of rights was not characteristic of these peoples. The formation of states began in the Middle Ages. During these years, feudal relations were established, in which part of the population lost certain rights, but had natural rights that were observed at different levels. Serfs, unlike slaves, were relatively free.
