What was the attitude towards man in Ancient Greece? Does it differ from ancient Eastern ideas?

The ancient Greeks developed more freely. In the period of antiquity, they were dominated by the idea of the equality of man and gods. Despite the pagan religion, they went far in their development. In ancient Greece, it was accepted that man is not a servant of God. On the contrary, all people, in their opinion, are free and equal with the gods. In the eastern civilization, there was a rigid framework that limited the activities of people. Their religion assumed complete obedience to the laws. People did not feel like individuals, they were one whole.
