What was the daily routine of a peasant family in the Middle Ages?

In the Middle Ages, the life of peasant families consisted of everyday work in the landowner’s field or on their own allotment. The peasants’ morning began with a hearty breakfast. On the table were products made on the farm, because the exchange of goods among the lower classes was less developed. The peasants ate porridge, soups, bread. After that, healthy family members went to the field where they worked until sunset. They also dined there. In the evening they sang songs, drank and did creative work. Women often did housework.
