What was the difference between the Roman republic and the Greek one?

The differences between the Roman Republic and the Greek classical polis were as follows:
1) The Roman Republic had a so-called mixed form of government, while direct democracy operated in the Greek polis during its heyday.
2) In the military component, the Greeks preferred the navy, while the Roman republic preferred its cohorts.
3) The polis did not have such positions as the magistrate, the consul and the senate, and the Areopagus was the main authority.
4) In the same way, the society itself was guided by different principles. In the Roman republic, patriotism, a sense of duty and the greatness of Rome were praised, in the polis, competition, anthropocentrism and humanism, a craving for philosophy and culture were held in high esteem.
