What was the end of the campaign of the Persian king Cyrus on the land of the Sakas?

The Persian king Cyrus the Great made campaigns in the lands not of the Saks, but of the Massagets (the latter’s belonging to the Saks is a controversial issue). After the capture of Elam and several states in Asia Minor, Cyrus also conquered Babylonia, after which he decided to turn his attention to the eastern borders and conquer the warlike Massagets, who led a semi-nomadic lifestyle near the borders of the Achaemenid Empire. However, this campaign was unsuccessful for Cyrus and he died during one of the battles, and the Massagets remained free from the Persians.
