What was the first Portuguese colony on Chinese soil?

The Portuguese reached the southern coast of China around 1520. They sailed from Malaysia (and to it from India). The first colony was the city of Macau, which is also called Macau. It was founded in 1557 and was owned by the Portuguese until 1999. Now it is a major tourist center as a special region of China with two state languages – Portuguese and Chinese.
However, before the founding of Macau, the Portuguese tried to gain a foothold on an island near the city of Ningbo. This took place from 1533 to 1545.
