What was the historical choice of Alexander Nevsky and could he have foreseen its consequences?

Alexander Nevsky made a historic choice, which consisted of an alliance with the Golden Horde. He acted like a competent strategist, since his associates did not understand the essence of the Horde oppression. They organized uprisings against the Mongols, thereby provoking ruin. Nevsky pleased the Horde: he suppressed the Tver uprising, conducted a census of the population in this area, collected tribute. Thus, he showed loyalty to the Horde. This reduced the number of devastations and interventions on the Russian land in the 13th century. The situation in the country has improved.
