What was the idea of the world in the late Middle Ages?

We are talking mainly about the 15th century, ideas about the world had the following features:

People did not yet know that the Earth revolves around the sun, in Europe they followed the teachings of Ptolemy that the sun revolves around the Earth.
There were no permanent trade ties between continents or their inhabitants simply did not know about each other, for example, the Europeans only reached the Caribbean islands by 1492, and by 1498 they opened the way to India around Africa.
Consequently, in the late Middle Ages, they did not quite represent the shape of the planet and the location of the continents on it.
Europeans often considered Jerusalem as the center of the world.
