What was the need to create the UN?

The UN was organized after the Second World War after the self-dissolution of the League of Nations, which failed to prevent a global conflict. The UN itself was invented back in 1942 by Roosevelt as an organization of 26 countries-members of the alliance against Germany and the Axis countries. Already on April 25, 1945, in San Francisco, it was announced the beginning of consultations with the aim of creating this body of world significance. The main task of the UN was to rid the future inhabitants of the planet from world-scale military conflicts. Unfortunately, the organization has not always coped with its responsibilities.
