Typography was invented in the middle of the 15th century and it played an important role in the development of education, the preservation of knowledge. From that moment on, the number of literate people began to increase, and there were more universities and libraries in Europe. Typography contributed to the development of literature, which became especially noticeable in the 16th century. The book, at the moment, can also be considered a carrier of information, but e-books are gaining more and more popularity due to technical progress, but whether this is better or worse is a debatable question.
