What was the social structure in the Celestial Empire?

The Chinese called their country the “Middle State” or “Celestial Empire”, the time was based on dynasties, or rather, according to the times of their reign.

From 618-906, as a result of the resettlement of nomads to China and the so-called “Great Migration of Peoples”, the Tang Dynasty began its reign.

Tai Zong, who ruled from 627 to 649, was the best emperor since the dynasty. His merit is the establishment of power in one person, while the previous emperors very brutally suppressed popular riots, and also executed those who robbed the treasury and took bribes. To eliminate hunger, there were barns in the state that contained stocks.

The emperor who has the nickname “Son of Heaven” headed the “Middle State”, he received power by inheritance and did not limit himself in laws. In addition to the emperor, his relatives and persons whom he trusted were in power, they, in turn, created the Council of State.

The departments were ruled by 6 ministers who formed the executive branch. There was also a control and audit chamber, where prosecutors worked and they monitored the activities of ministers. The number of officials in the state was one million.
