What was the strength and what was the weakness of the knight as a warrior on the battlefield?

The knight wore heavy armor, while wielding no less heavy weapons. The horse lava of such warriors could sweep away everything in its path. The military skills of the knights were at a high level, since each knight was, first of all, a warrior.

The knight’s weakness was that, finding himself on the ground (when falling from a horse) and losing the support of allies, the knight, due to the weight of the armor, could not rise on his own and became an easy prey for the enemy, who either killed him or took him prisoner for ransom.
