What were the common features of the development of agriculture in China and Japan?

China’s agriculture is more diversified due to the country’s size and differences in soil and climate. There, in the south, tea and all kinds of tropical fruits grow well. However, it is common to specialize in cereals such as rice and millet, as well as in pig and poultry farming in the livestock sector (horse breeding and small ruminants are not particularly popular). Fish farming is developed in ponds.
