What were the executive bodies of power in ancient Athens?

In Ancient Athens, there were several government bodies. The supreme power was concentrated at the National Assembly, where the citizens of the country were elected. All government bodies were subordinate to the People’s Assembly, among which were the Council of Five Hundred, Galieya, the Collegium of Ten Strategists and others. The collegium of ten strategists was considered the most important body in whose hands administrative and executive power was concentrated. Only wealthy people applied for positions in this body.
