What were the failures of the Versailles Peace Treaty in world diplomacy?

The Versailles Peace Treaty is a document that officially ended the First World War (1914-1918) and was concluded between the coalition of the victorious countries and the losing Germany. The treaty led to a number of negative consequences that affected the further development of world relations: the burden of the post-war system fell on the defeated peoples, states with large national minorities arose, preconditions for the development of chauvinism and nationalism appeared, and the isolation of Soviet Russia took place.
