Greek civilizations developed in hot climates. Around the Greek states were located such natural resources as: sea, mountains, rivers, barren soil. These indicators played a role in the economy of the Greeks. Their main activities were: trade, handicrafts, fishing and mining. The inhabitants of these territories practically did not engage in agriculture and cattle breeding, because there were no conditions for this. But they flourished urban planning and trade in foreign and domestic markets.
