What were the reasons for the differences between the different colonies?

If we talk about the colonies, then there were a lot of differences between them. The main reason is the difference between the countries that conquered them, because each country brought its own culture, traditions and all that. But the reasons are also in the geographical location. So the colonies in Latin America are very different from the African in terms of development. The development of the country itself had a very great influence. If there was capitalism in the country, then in the colonies they built industrial plants, and if there was also feudalism, then the colonies were practically in slavery.
