What were the reasons for the dissatisfaction of a significant part of the population with the policy of the Bolsheviks after the end of the main events of the civil war?

The policy of the Bolsheviks implied dictatorship: people had no freedoms. The Bolsheviks abolished monetary relations, sought to establish a direct exchange of goods between the countryside and the city, while the products of the peasants were valued lower than the products produced by the workers. People were not satisfied with this situation: they could not earn money, leveling was introduced. This deprived the Bolsheviks of support, so they were forced to soften their policy (made the transition to the NEP) in order to regain people’s confidence.
