What were the reasons for the murder of Julius Caesar?

The reasons for his murder were that the Senate did not want to admit him to power, because Caesar wanted to rule alone. Thus, an attempt was made on his life, which was organized by a group of senators. This happened in 44 BC. We can say that the Senate, thus, tried to preserve the republican order in Rome. However, already in 27 BC, the Senate elected Octavian Augustus emperor, which marked the end of the republic and the beginning of the empire.
