What were the reasons for the Young Turk revolution? What were its results?

The Young Turks are a political movement in the Ottoman Empire that sought to carry out constitutional reforms in the country and to overthrow the then Sultan Abdul-Hamid II. The officers were the main pillar of the revolutionary movement. The Young Turks played into the hands of uprisings against the Sultan of the Christian population, which did not stop for many years. The Balkans provided a constant threat to the inner peace of the Ottoman Empire.
After the overthrow of the sultan’s power, the Young Turks were never able to carry out the reforms that they advocated during the seizure of power. On the contrary, a brutal terror began in the country, all the riots and discontent of the people were suppressed very cruelly. Speaking about the terror of the Young Turks, it is worth mentioning the genocide of the Armenian people, when over 1.5 million Armenians were exterminated. The government of the Young Turks involved Turkey in 1914 in World War I on the side of Germany (the Armenians were exterminated in order, as the Young Turks said, to clear the front line). Turkey lost the war, the people were dissatisfied, the officers no longer supported the Young Turkish government. Young Turks emigrated from the country. Subsequently, many of them were killed by the Armenians.
