What would happen to solid liquid and gaseous substances if their molecules ceased to be attracted to each other?

All bodies are made of particles (molecules or atoms). There is mutual attraction and repulsion between the molecules. The attraction in different substances is not the same: a stick is easier to break than a steel wire. If there is no attraction between the molecules, then a solid, liquid or gaseous substance will constantly disintegrate into atoms. If the molecules stopped repelling, then the compressed sheet of paper would not be able to straighten, the molecules of the substance would constantly be attracted to each other and stick together.
