What would happen to the world around us if the attraction between the molecules suddenly disappeared?

The attraction between molecules is electrical in nature and acts over relatively short distances. The disappearance of this attraction would lead to the transformation of a significant layer of the Earth and everything on its surface into gas. The composition of the gas is a cocktail of molecules of all existing substances. Under the influence of gravity, the gas would create an increasing pressure as it approaches the center of the Earth. The pressure would form a layer of liquid, with a solid core underneath. The stars would have changed little, there, and so the atoms are practically not connected with each other.
