What would you describe as significant political changes in the world in the 20th century?

There were at least 3 such changes:

1. 1st World War and its results. Germany lost part of its own territories, territories in Africa. Was deprived of the opportunity to have aviation and pay huge reparations.

2. World War II. There was Germany again. She was dismembered. The role of the USSR in Europe and the world has grown. China has not disappeared from the map. Japan lost its continental possessions. Tests on living people of nuclear weapons. “The Fulton Speech”. “Iron curtain”. Cold War. Arms race.

3. The collapse of the USSR. The United States has become the strongest player in the political arena. They are also becoming the most powerful world economy, although they have been so all the time.
