The personality cult of I. Stalin was exposed in 1956. This report was read by NS Khrushchev at one of the congresses of the Central Committee of the CPSU. Before him, no one had yet dared to condemn Stalin’s actions, and even more so from high tribunes to call for mass publicity. After that, society began to recover after the difficult years of Stalin’s rule. At the time when N. Khrushchev was in power, there was a “thaw”, that is, an improvement in the situation of people. In the USSR, measures were taken to de-Stalinization and weakening censorship. But the policy persisted.
